The ABC Book Challenge | “D”

Book Blitz_I absolutely love everything about this challenge/tag! I saw this on Life of a Literary Nerd and was super excited to start it right away. Each week I’ll be posting another letter of the alphabet. So, be prepared for lots of posts in this series! ūüôā

Memorable Titles That Start With “D”

Defy by Sara B. Larson was so much fun to read! It reminded me a lot of Mulan due to its storyline featuring a¬†young girl who disguises herself as a man to become a soldier. The Dark Days Club and The Dark Days Pact¬†by Alison Goodman are two of my most favourite reads from the past few years. I adored the mixture of the Regency era with demons and magic. Speaking about demons, Kat Ross’¬†The Daemoniac is also a favourite of mine and a must read. Set in 1880s New York City, the book is a¬†cross between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Books Starting With “D” On My TBR

I read¬†Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller in a day, it was that binge worthy! So, I’m hoping that its sequel¬†Daughter of the Siren Queen is just as good or even better. I’ve heard good things about¬†Defiance by C.J. Redwine and finally downloaded a copy to my Kindle. I’m hoping to read it really soon. And finally, The Dark Days Deceit is the third book¬†Alison Goodman’s series. It’s set to be released in November and the wait is slowly killing me! I need it NOW please!!!!

Which memorable books that start with an “D” have you read? Have you read any of the books included above? What were your thoughts about them? ‚̧
