  1. Great picks for this week Jacquie, I haven’t actually read any of these except Labyrinth Lost but that one completely exceeded my expectations as well. I kind of got into that one after the hype but I’d heard such amazing things about it my expectations were really high either way. Luckily the book was beyond amazing and I didn’t really want it to end.
I have Ruined on my to-read list still so I hope I enjoy that one as much as you did as well! 😀

  2. Oh no! Black Widow disappointed!? That’s a bummer! Especially since she’s such an awesome character. Mary series has been great, and overall, I think “Siren’s Song” was a great series ender. 🙂 “Ruined” has me curious. I’ve seen it around, but haven’t looked too close at it. I’ll have to remedy that.

    • I love the Black Widow. She’s my favourite superhero and my expectations were really high. The book wasn’t what I wanted. I though she’d be the main character or that the story would focus on her, but instead it was about a teenage girl who had ties to her and her love interest. There’s just so much that you could do with a YA version of Black Widow and this wasn’t one of them.
