Top Ten Tuesday

mini-reviews-2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. The theme this week is all about romance because it’s Valentine’s Day! ❤ So, to celebrate here are ten YA contemporary romance novels that I can’t wait to finally read this year. They have been on my TBR for ages and I can’t believe that I haven’t gotten to them yet.

Have you read any of these yet? What were your thoughts?

  1. Some of these are on my TBR too! I really want to read The Geography of You and Me! I also own Anna.

I’ve read Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between (Eh, not all that. Wasn’t a fav to be honest), To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (Didn’t like this one at all unfortunately), and Since You’ve Been Gone (I read a few pages and honestly wasn’t feeling it so I just put it down). I have another Kasie West on my TBR! But anyways, awesome list!

    • Thanks! I have a bunch of Kasie West books that have somehow ended up on bookshelf from book boxes so I’m looking forward to trying them. That sucks about Goodbye and Everything in Between. I really enjoyed The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. It was just so cute and I loved how it was told over such a short period of time.

  2. These are some great picks for this week’s TTT theme Jacquie. Contemporary romance is a genre I only recently started reading and you have some of my favourite books on here as well. I really enjoyed Since You’v Been Gone (I actually need to read the rest of Morgan Matson’s released, they’re all still on my to-read list at the moment) and Anna and the French Kiss so I hope you do as well. Also Kasie West is probably one of my favourite YA contemporary authors so I really really hope you love her books as much as I do. 😀

    • I feel bad….I’m always writing in my comments back to you that I’m going to pick up a Kasie West book and then never do. Boo on me haha. I’ve heard really good things about Morgan Matson so I’m excited to read some of her books. I actually just bought a bunch that were on sale. I always turned my nose up at the genre in the past but what was I doing? It’s just so much fun to read these and relax.

      • I’m sure you’ll get around to one of them one day, and then I’m sure you’ll think it was worth the wait as well! 🙂
Morgan Matson is an amazing author (going from the one book of hers I’ve read and from what I’ve heard). I never used to think YA contemporary was a genre for me but I quickly changed my mind. Sometimes books like these are just what I need! 😀

      • Yeah I always wrote them off as silly and fluffy. Well, some are, but it’s so much fun to relax and giggle along with them. And then also seeing how much real life drama and situation that are in many made me really evaluate my POV. They are so much more than just teen romance.

  3. I’ve only read P.S. I Like You and Anna and the French Kiss, which I adore both of them so much. Several of the other’s are on my TBR though! I’ve only read one of Kasie West’s and Jennifer E. Smith’s books so I definetly need to get around to reading more of their books this year. Great list!! 😁
