Prompt: Plan a fictional trip.
I have loved Leigh Barudo’s magical world since I read the first book in the Grisha trilogy, Shadow and Bone. Taking inspiration from the cold winters of Russia and the seaports of the Netherlands, this is where I would plan to visit. Of course, I would need Kaz and the crew to keep me safe. It’s a dangerous world out there!
So, this is the Grishaverse. I love books that come with awesome maps!
First stop…Ketterdam on the island of Kerch. It’s an trade hub, but be extra careful! Always keep on eye on your purse. After a brief top in Ketterdam, it’s a ship ride over to the kingdom of Ravka and its gorgeous capital Os Alta. Think Saint Petersburg at the height of Romanov rule with magic. After that it’s a trek across the frozen lands to Fjerda. The people aren’t very friendly, especially if you have a magical ability, but the Ice Palace is supposed to be a stunning piece of architecture.
Just look at how stunning this imagined world is! ♡♡♡♡
What fictional world would you like to journey to?
